Programs
TAL Education Program
Our Education program designed as holistic, child-centered initiative aimed at breaking the cycle of poverty, abuse, gender discrimination and overcoming barriers to learning. The program integrates formal schooling with psychosocial support, after-school tutoring, nutrition, and life skill-building for both children and caregivers to foster resilience.

YOUTH EMPOWERMENT
CHILD RIGHTS AND
GENDER EQUALITY

Youth empowerment programs can have an incredible impact on their communities as they support students, increase access to opportunities, and remove barriers to education and achievement.
Ultimately, the goal of TAL Foundation’s community programs for youth is to authentically engage and empower vulnerable children for a better future. Some programs advocate for healthy eating and physical activity as part of reducing childhood obesity. Others offer support to work to lift youth out of poverty, develop workforce training, or implement violence and bullying prevention activities.
Although both boys and girls are abused, more girls report sexual abuse and, without ignoring the fact that girls and women commit sexual offences, in the vast majority of reported cases, the perpetrators of such abuse are men and adolescent boys. So engaging them in child protection awareness sessions and campaign can lead to a reduction in violence against children especially sexual violence among girls.
W sensitize communities on children's rights and we report cases of child abuse to authorities. We counsel street children about their rights and reunite them with their families if there is a chance to find the family. We advocate for children's rights in schools by making them aware of their rights and responsibilities, encourage them to report cases of child abuse.
